Global Life Science Production Coordinator
With the Danish Life Science Strategy Towards 2030, Denmark has set out to attract more foreign investments in life science production through strengthened efforts abroad, including through the promotion of national industrial parks and the one-stop shop for permits for production companies. Invest in Denmark is looking for a Global Life Science Production Coordinator (LSPC) to support the attraction of life science production from North America, Europe and Asia to all of Denmark. This includes taking primary responsibility for advancing investment projects – from developing tailored sales materials, engaging in dialogue with investors, collaborating with Danish stakeholders, and organising and conducting company and site visits in Denmark.
You will be based at the Danish Embassy in London and report directly to the Market Director for Europe who is based in Copenhagen. You will be part of our global organisation of 60 colleagues working with investment promotion (three experienced investment managers are also placed in London).
Responsibilities
One of the key priorities in the mentioned national strategy is to attract more life science production to Denmark. As LSPC you will identify, contact, and cultivate contacts with global life science companies and relevant life science organisations, this in coordination with relevant investment managers. As LSPC you will also interact closely with eco-systems in Denmark to promote Danish life science production strongholds.
KPIs will include number and quality of outreach activities, leads, meetings, sales materials, mappings, analyses and communication products such as insights on Denmark.
The position entails a substantial number of travel days, estimated at 50+ travel days per year and including overseas travel for several consecutive weeks at the time.
Main tasks and responsibilities as LSPC include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and/or update tailored and market specific approach, sales materials and value propositions targeting Life Science Production and companies in North America, Europe and Asia interested in establishing production in Denmark.
- Conduct market and industry specific mappings and market analysis to identify high-potential investment leads in coordination with Investment Managers (IMs) across all markets/countries.
- Generate and qualify investment leads within the Life Science manufacturing sector in coordination with relevant IMs.
- Arrange and carry out meetings with potential investors in coordination with relevant IMs.
- Arrange and conduct Fact Finding Missions in close coordination with the lead Production Project Manager (PM) in Denmark.
- Facilitate dialogue and collaboration with Danish stakeholders, including municipalities, clusters, and industry partners in close coordination with the lead Production Project Manager (PM) in Denmark.
- Support IMs and PMs with project specific tasks and leads, including JSP events.
- Coordinate with IMs and PMs to ensure a smooth investor journey from initial interest to establishment by providing end-to-end support and insights.
Qualifications
- 2 – 3 years of work experience in relevant roles, such as documented international sales, consulting or business development experience from reputable organisations.
- Commercial mindset, and ability to understand strategic site selection dynamics for life science production.
- A MSc in STEM, business, economics, political science or finance.
- A team-player who values a good working environment with a strong focus on cooperation and knowledge sharing.
- Ability to understand policy processes and work with public organisations.
- Capacity to manage several tasks independently and efficiently.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Danish culture and language is an advantage.

Employment conditions
This is a full-time position with a 37-hour working week. You will be offered employment on a local contract for 2026 & 2027. You will have a large degree of flexibility in organising your own daily working hours.
The employment will be in accordance with the salary scale for locally employed staff at the embassy. Monthly salary 3,734 GBP for employees subject to UK income tax or 3,151 GBP for tax-exempt employees. This is subject to NIC deduction. An additional allowance may be added based on qualifications and experience.
The position includes 25 paid holiday days per year. UK bank holidays are additional to this.
Please note that employment with the Embassy requires security clearance by the Danish Security and Intelligence Service.

The recruitment process, including security clearance, is expected to take 3-4 months.
No offer of employment will be made until a candidate has passed security clearance. Any offer of employment will be conditional on and subject to certain conditions being met, including (but not limited to) the candidate providing evidence of right to work in the UK and providing references which are satisfactory to the Embassy.
