How to apply for a Danish passport
You will find all relevant information about Danish passports on the main website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark.
From 1 February 2025 it is no longer possible to have your new passport sent to you by post. Instead you will be asked to choose where you want to collect it. You can choose between the Embassy in London; one of our consulates in the UK; a 'Borgerservicecenter' in Denmark or another Danish mission abroad. Choosing to collect at another place than you originally ordered your new passport is subject to a collection fee per passport.
Collection at the Embassy is possible during the following times:
Mondays: 13:30-14:30 hrs.
Thursdays: 9:30-10:30 hrs.
