Project management position as Energy Adviser (Entry level)

The Royal Danish Embassy in London is seeking an Adviser to join our dynamic energy team. This is your chance to be part of a team with great impact on the energy transition in UK.
As an entry level Adviser, your primary responsibility is to advise and assist Danish companies in developing sales and partner opportunities and assist the principal advisers. By creating value through consulting services, we work towards creating the ideal conditions for Danish companies to establish or expand their presence in this market. Our services encompass a wide range of support, including public affairs support, access to authorities and stakeholders, matchmaking, and organizing joint promotions and delegation visits in both directions, all designed to enhance Danish companies' exposure towards key British & Irish partners.
You will work with key stakeholders to promote energy solutions and innovative technologies. Focus is on Wind, District Energy, CCUS, energy efficiency and more.
What we expect from you:
- Qualifications: You should hold a bachelor's or master's degree or possess equivalent professional experience.
- Experience: Work experience in business development, consulting, and/or project management, preferable within energy. Familiarity with Danish solution providers is a plus.
- Commercial acumen: You should have a flair for commercial opportunities and running marketing activities.
- Sales skills: Experience and/or interest in sales and customer relations that can ensure significant value creation and customer satisfaction.
- Team player: You are proactive, a team player, and an effective networker who readily supports colleagues and goes the extra mile to ensure project success.
- Language skills: Have excellent command of English. Knowledge of Danish or another Scandinavian language is an advantage but not required.

Expected start
As soon as practicable possible, expected May. 2026.
Employment conditions: In your daily work, you will report to the energy sector expert and overall to the Head of Trade and Economic Diplomacy. Travel within the UK, and to Ireland and Denmark is expected in order to engage with clients, partners and stakeholders. We measure success through shared regional team KPIs, focusing on value creation, making impact and activity hours. Please note that employment with the Embassy requires security clearance by the Danish Security and Intelligence Service.
The position a fixed two year appointment. The salary, before tax and NIC deduction, falls within the range of £40,000 to £43,000 per year, depending on qualifications and relevant experience.
