Find out how to book a passport appointment at the Danish Embassy in London.
You need to book your appointment online to renew/apply for a new passport at the Danish Embassy in London.
When you have booked the appointment a confirmation email will be sent to your email address (it will not be shown on the screen at the end of the booking).
- To make an appointment please click here. Appointments can be made up to six weeks in advance. If you cannot see an available appointment within the next six weeks, it is because we are fully booked. Please check regularly for cancellations.
- Please print out and complete an application form for each passport application.
- Please check which documents you need to bring to your appointment under Passport requirements.
- Please note that payment is by card only.
- If you have changed your name since your last passport, please bring relevant documentation. If you have a CPR number, you must also contact the municipality where you last lived in Denmark to update your name in the CPR register.The name in your passport must match the name in the CPR register.
If you are unable to come to the embassy for your appointment, please make sure that you cancel it so that it can benefit another applicant.
Please note that during peak periods you may experience long waiting times for appointments. It is sometimes possible to find an earlier appointment by checking the appointment system daily, as cancellations do occur.
If you experience technical problems when trying to book a passport appointment, these can sometimes be resolved by changing Internet browser. If this does not solve your problem, please contact the embassy's reception. Please check the opening hours here.
All Danish Consulates in the UK accept passport applications for children under 12.
Collection of passports
Mondays: 13.30–14.30.
Thursdays: 9.30–10.30.
No appointment is necessary when collecting your passport. Your passport must be collected within 60 days from the date when you are notified by the embassy that it is ready for collection. Failure to collect your passport within this period may result in cancellation of the document.
Please note that if you apply for a passport in Denmark or any Danish mission abroad and you wish to collect it from this embassy or any Danish Consulate or Vice-Consulate in the UK there will be an additional charge per passport.
