The Embassy of Denmark has appointed VF Services (UK) Ltd. as its outsourced partner for acceptance and processing of its visa applications. All visa applications will be accepted and processed by VF Services (UK) Ltd. through its dedicated Denmark Visa Application Centres in
London, Manchester and Edinburgh.
The centres in London, Manchester and Edinburgh manage scheduling of appointments for submission of visas (appointment required). Visa applications must be submitted in person (including children). For more information - including the location of the centres in Manchester and Edinburgh - please visit the VFS Global website. Please note that you may have to wait several weeks for an available appointment slot for an interview.

You may apply up to 3 months before you travel.
If you are not resident in the U.K. (i.e. holding a C-visit visa) you should apply through the Danish Embassy or Consulate in your country of residence, but you may also apply at any Danish mission outside your country of residence if you have a valid reason for not having applied there (e.g. no Danish mission or a new urgent situation has arisen during your stay in the UK (e.g. new business trip, death or serious illness of a relative in Denmark/Iceland - please note that written confirmation from the doctor or hospital in Denmark/Iceland is required).
If you have not visited the Schengen area previously, a visa is normally issued for one entry. Once you have made one visit in accordance with the visa granted you may apply for two or more entries if you can provide the documentation for these visits.
If you want to visit one Schengen country, apply for a visa at the Embassy or Consulate of that country.
If you want to visit several Schengen countries, apply at the Embassy or Consulate of the country of your main destination(determined by the purpose and duration of stay).
If you intend to visit several Schengen countries, but do not have a main destination, apply at the Embassy or Consulate of the first Schengen country you will be visiting.
The earliest you can apply is 3 months before the start your trip.
Denmark represents Iceland in visa matters.
The following applies to each applicant:

1. One completed application form
It must be signed by the applicant. All questions must be answered - otherwise the application may not be accepted. Please specify the total number of days of stay and the period of validity (first date of entry to the last day of your final visit) requested if you are applying for 2 or more entries.
2. Passport/travel document, photo and UK Residence Permit
Please also bring a copy of your passport and UK residence permit and a recent passport photo.
If you have travelled in the Schengen area in the last 3 years, and your previous Schengen visas are in an expired passport, you will also need to bring the expired passport.
The passport/travel document must have two blank page for the visa sticker.
Your passport/travel document must be valid for at least 3 months after your visit to Denmark (or in the case of several visits, after the last intended date of departure from the territory of the Schengen States) and must have been issued within the previous 10 years.
If you live in the UK and are returning to the UK after your visit to Denmark you must hold a UK visa/residence/work permit valid for at least 3 months after your visit.
Saudi nationals must produce their ID card with translation into English in addition to their passport.

If you are planning several visits to other Schengen countries hotel bookings must be produced for all visits. Please note that Denmark or Iceland must be the main destination (the country where you will be spending the most number of days).

Please note that when using Booking.com for hotel bookings, names no longer appear on the confirmation. Please therefore show your confirmation email from Booking.com, which must be sent to the same e-mail address as the one you state on the visa application form.
5. Travel insurance
Proof of insurance must be produced at the time of application.

Insurance Certificate
The insurance must cover emergency medical expenses, hospitalization and repatriation (also in case of death) - minimum EU 30,000. Evidence of this cover is required, i.e. the relevant paragraphs from the full insurance policy document (not Key Facts or Summary).

6. Evidence of sufficient funds for the visit
£60.00 per person per day if you are staying in a hotel.
£40.00 per person per day if you are staying in a hostel or similar.
£20.00 per person per day if you are staying with family or friends (even when your host has confirmed that he/she will be covering your expenses) plus funds for a return ticket to your country of residence.

If your employer or foreign business partner is covering your expenses your employer’s letter or invitation must confirm this. Otherwise a private bank statement must be produced.
Documents must be in English or Danish translated by an authorized translator.

A recent passport photo (not older than 3 months) measuring 35mm x 45mm. The photo should bear close resemblance to the child's current appearance and the face should be facing the camera directly. The distance from chin to the top of the head should measure between 30mm and 36mm. Forehead and hairline should be visible.
