As from 21st May 2012 Danish residence cards must contain biometrics (digital photograph & signature and fingerprints of 10 fingers). From this date all applications for a Danish residence permit must be handed in in person at the VF Services (UK) Ltd Centre . VFS is the Embassy of Denmark's outsourcing partner for visas and residence permits. When you hand in your application, VFS will record your biometrics at the same time.
Children under 6 (age 6 minus 1 day) are not required to give fingerprints.

The application form is either PR1 Application for a Danish residence and work permit for agricultural, veterinary, forestry or horticultural interns or PR3 Application for a residence and work permit for interns in the healthcare sector, natural sciences, technical fields, the pharmaceutical sector, architecture etc.
Agricultural, Veterinary, forestry or horticultural interns:
1. 2 completed application forms PR1 (please see “instructions” on the front of the application form). Both forms must be identical. Please provide your UK contact details: address, mobile telephone number, e-mail address.
2. Passport (copies of all passport pages are accepted).
3. Additional documentation as listed on the application form.
4. Non-refundable fee of £161.00. Interns in the healthcare sector, natural sciences, technical fields, the pharmaceutical sector, architecture etc. :
1. 2 completed application forms PR3 (please see guidelines “How to apply” on the front of the application form). Both forms must be identical.
2. Passport (copies of passport pages with your persona information and UK residence permit are accepted)
4. Non-refundable fee of £161.00. If the internship has been arranged through IAESTE/AIESEC:
