The Liveable City London 2017

liveable

For many years, Denmark has been at the forefront in developing technologically innovative and environmentally sound solutions to contemporary problems in cityscapes, but how to tell that story to the world?

One of the answers is the Liveable City conference – hosted by the Danish Embassy in London – which focuses on promoting the solutions of Danish businesses in a make-up that enables the discussion on how to make our cities healthier and more liveable for all.

More than 1000 people signed up for the 9 seminars and a welcome reception under the headline Hygge and Architecture. In total, 51 highly influential speakers and chairs at the forefront of their areas of expertise presented during the 4-day conference that ran from 13-16 June. They turned the Liveable City conference into a highly inspirational event for all with an interest in creating sustainable and thriving communities.

The Liveable City conference is organised in collaboration with the Royal Institute of British Architects and forms part of the programme for the London Festival of Architecture.
