The brands collections were showcased, as a mini trade-fair, in the Danish Embassy’s car park on Sloane Street. The car park setting, with its raw concrete walls and floors, yellow painted parking bays, fluorescent floodlight and red pipes created an edgy and cool space.
High-light of the day was a funky and eclectic low-budget fashion show featuring a wide selection of the showcased designs. Loud Danish rock music, champagne and local Danish Mikkeller beer brought warmth to the cold concrete car park.
The place was buzzing of interest and praising words on the collections - so from next season you will be seeing more Danish designers in the British shops.
