Embassy Art Prize 2013

The Embassy of Denmark is now accepting applications for the 2013 Embassy Art Prize; an art competition for Danish fine art students in the UK

The Danish Embassy’s Art Prize is an opportunity for Danish fine art students in the UK to submit their best works to take part in the competition. The winner will have the unique possibility of exhibiting at the Embassy in London, and in conjunction to this, a private view will be organised. As part of the prize, the winner will receive £1000 to support the costs of the exhibition, which will be on show at the Embassy for app. one year from March 2013 – February 2014.

It is a requirement that all applications include:

• Images of selected artworks (Max. 10 images)

• CV

• Ideas for the exhibition, and other relevant information

Candidates must present two-dimensional works, e.g. paintings, graphic arts, photography, or alternatively reliefs and wall sculptures.

An external visual art professional panel is advising on the winner.

The exhibition winner will be announced on Facebook, Twitter and in the Embassy’s monthly newsletter.

Application deadline:  30 November 2012.
