The Embassy of Denmark is now accepting applications for The Danish Embassy Art Prize – summer 2012 exhibition.

Competition for Danish art students
The Danish Embassy Art Prize is a biannual competition for Danish art students in the UK. The prize is a six-month exhibition in a public space at the Embassy of Denmark and £500 in support. 

The successful candidate is selected among the applications submitted within the given deadline. A private view for the exhibition is organised by the Embassy. The exhibition winner is announced in the Embassy’s monthly newsletter and on the Embassy's Facebook and Twitter profiles.

Applications should include:

• Images of artworks (max. 10 images)
• CV
• Other relevant information 

Works of art submitted for the exhibition must be two-dimensional, i.e. paintings, graphic art, photography or reliefs and wall sculptures, due to the nature of the exhibition space.

Next application deadline: Monday 23 April 2012

by email to kirmad@um.dk.  Application must be sent as a single attachment in PDF-format, i.e. all images and documents must be contained in one file.
