World’s Best Restaurant NOMA Comes to London

30.04.2012  17:04
René Redzepi, head chef of Noma in Copenhagen, announces plans to unveil ‘A Taste of Noma at Claridge’s’, as he joins forces with the Mayfair hotel this summer to mark the celebrations of the London Olympics 2012.

Just voted best restaurant in the world for the third time at the World's 50 Best Restaurant Awards (2010/2011) and recently named one of TIME magazine’s ‘100 Most Influential People in the World’, Redzepi has sparked a cultural revolution with his focus on foraging and the reinterpretation of Nordic cuisine.

For ten days, Redzepi will be creating a five course menu at Claridge’s which will reflect his signature flavours and dishes from Noma, using local, seasonal British ingredients.

Redzepi comments: “We are excited about the opportunity to be part of the celebration of the Olympic Games in London and to work closely with the team at Claridge’s. It is a different set-up from our home field, but we look forward to exploring the bounty of a different part of the world.”

‘A Taste of Noma at Claridge’s’ will be available for both lunch and dinner in Claridge’s Ballroom from 28th July to 6th August 2012. René Redzepi will be in attendance every day together with his team of chefs from Noma.

The five course menu is priced at £195 per person. For further information and to register your interest: www.claridges.co.uk
