The Bumswing is a show about the things you know you have forgotten, the things you remember and the things you wish you could forget. The Edinburgh Comedy Award Best Newcomer winner is back with a comedy show about memory and swings specifically for bums. As seen on Live from the BBC and her own episode of Comedy Central Specials. It will also be possible to experience Sofie Hagen at Edinburgh International Book Festival, 17 August, 3:15 pm, The New York Times Main Theatre. Join her in Charlotte Square Gardens as she discusses body image and the notion that being fat is wrong in a society obsessed by shrinking – the topic of her new book Happy Fat.

About Sofie Hagen:
Multi-award winning Sofie Hagen is a Danish London-based standup-comedian. Recently, she published the book “Happy Fat: Taking Up Space in a World That Wants to Shrink You”. Sofie Hagen burst onto the British scene by winning Best Newcomer at Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2015, and she has gone on to establish herself as a sensitive and urgent voice for outsiders.
